Quality early childhood educators are not easy to find, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t looking to find them whether we currently have full-time open positions or not. For a variety of reasons, full-time positions aren’t always desirable for teachers or associate teachers, either. That’s why we have substitute teaching opportunities for both teachers and associates.

Just like our full-time, permanent team members, if you don’t consider yourself one of the very best, no need to apply.

We are seeking passionate, dedicated, nurturing, loving, amazing people to add to our sub pool for all of our age groups (infant to 5+ years old).

If you have interest in testing out our work environment, this is a fantastic way to do it. There is no obligation other than completing the shift you agreed to. You can leave our sub pool at any time.

What does it take?

1. After you complete a quick online application, we will review and then ask you to schedule an interview with us.
2. If you are selected as a valuable addition to our Just Like GRAMMY & POPPOP’s teacher team, we will make you an offer.
3. If you accept, you will be asked to complete our onboarding program.
   This includes:
   • Meet & Greet welcome tour
   • Verification of your education qualifications (Wisconsin Registry)
   • Confirmation of a non-expired background check for childcare
   • Additional requirements of licensing (CPR, first aid, health summary, etc.)
   • Documentation (i9, w4, work history, etc)
   • Learning about Just Like GRAMMY & POPPOP’s policies & procedures
   • and lots more!
4. Once these steps are completed, you will specify when you are available to be placed on-call and any other preferences you may have.
5. If we have an opportunity, we will notify you. You are welcome to accept or reject, but we ask you do one or the other in a timely manner.
